ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UIHJ
The COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions ordered to combat its spread currently dominate our private and professional lives! Containment measures have been decided in many countries and it is currently very difficult to say for how long these measures – sometimes very drastic – will remain in force.
Given this situation and given that the health of our colleagues as well as that of those close to them must remain our primary concern, it seems to us impossible to maintain the organization of the Permanent Council of the UIHJ planned for the 08th May 2020 in Belgrade.
The board of the UIHJ has unanimously decided to cancel this event and would like to warmly thank the National Chamber of the Judicial Officers of Serbia for all the efforts which have already been made within the frame of its organization.
In the days and weeks to come, we will send several letters informing our members about the most important points which should have been raised in Belgrade.
The next Permanent Council of the UIHJ will take place on November 26 and 27, 2020, as usual in Paris. We invite you already right now to safe these dates!
It is obvious that we will not remain inactive until then and that we will resume our activities on the ground as soon as the situation returns to normality.
